Eudell Cartrette Cribb: Tabor City

1939 – 2020

     Eudell Cartrette Cribb of Tabor City died Tuesday, Nov. 24, in her home. She was 81.

     Born Jan. 19, 1939 in Columbus County she was the daughter of the late John Samuel Cartrette and Millie Richardson Cartrette.

     She is survived by three daughters, Cynthia Cribb of Tabor City, Dianne Cribb Hall Cerro Gordo, and Kathy Cribb Batten of Chadbourn; three sisters, Sadie McGrit Estelle Soles, and Shirley Weinberger, all of Lexington; nine grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Jerome Cribb and Randy Cribb; two brothers, Austin Cartrette and Elbert Cartrette; and three sisters, Mildred Suggs, Gladys Parker and Veda Cartrette.

     Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, in Inman Ward Funeral Home.

     Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
