Lucy Alberta Willis Tripp: Tabor City
1944 – 2020
Lucy Alberta Willis Tripp of Tabor City died on Nov. 1 in Brunswick Health and Rehab in Ash. She was 75.
Born Dec. 31, 1944 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Dalton Bright and Delta Marie Wright Willis and the widow of Larry Dale Tripp.
She is survived by one daughter, Hazel Marie Tripp Sondergaard of Tabor City; three sisters, Lydia Roberta Willis of Tabor City, Marie Elizabeth Willis Carwile of Norfolk, Virginia and Cynthia Jane Willis Rowe of Tabor City; and a brother, Paul Curtis Willis of Tabor City.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Delta Dawn Mae Tripp Peed; and one sister, Leona Mae Willis Small.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
