Betty Sue Stevens Jones: Galivants Ferry

1954 – 2020

     Betty Sue Stevens Jones of Galivants Ferry died Wednesday, Dec. 30, in her home. She was 66.

     Born Feb. 27, 1954 in Horry County, she was the daughter of the Barbara E. Stevens and the late Noah Stevens and the widow of Paul Franklin Jones.

     In addition to her mother, she is survived by three daughters, Barbara Ann Grainger of Loris, Lisa Greenwood of Galivants Ferry, and Susan Greenwood of Conway; three brothers, Jesse Stevens Wayne Stevens, and John Paul Stevens, all of Conway; a sister, Linda Chestnut of Conway; nine grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

     In addition to her father and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Gail Jacobs; an infant sister, Barbara Ann Stevens; and one grandson.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in the Pleasant Union Baptist Church Cemetery, Aynor.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding the service in the chapel.
