Danny Wade Lassiter: Fairmont

1950 – 2021

     Danny Wade Lassiter of Fairmont passed away Friday, Jan. 1, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. He was 70.

     Born Sept. 15, 1950 in Robeson County, Mr. Lassiter was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne Lassiter and Mary Helen Stone Lassiter; and a brother, Dennis Lassiter.

     He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Dianne R. Lassiter of the home; two sons, Mark Lassiter (Missy Harper) of North Myrtle Beach and Matt Lassiter (Doris Allen) of Lumberton; a brother, Mitchell Lassiter (Gail) of Lumberton; three sisters, Wanda Jackson (Wayne) and Rose Sutton (Troy) of Lumberton, and Betty Ann Palmerico (Richie) of Little River, SC; four grandchildren, Alexis and Bryson Lassiter, Kiara Allen and Shayla Lassiter; and a host of nieces and nephews.

     A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 4, at the Marietta Cemetery in Marietta.
