Mary Frances Housand Causey Gore: Loris
1936 – 2021
Mrs. Mary Frances Housand Causey Gore of Loris passed away on Saturday, Jan. 9, at Loris Rehab. She was 84.
Mrs. Gore was born Nov. 25, 1936 in Loris to the late Clifton Housand and the late Esther Mae McCarthy Housand. Mrs. Housand was a seamstress for Marlene Industries and a member of Olyphic Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Rodney Causey and wife Marilyn of Loris; step-sons Ronald Gore and wife Betty of Tabor City and Roy Gore and wife Frances of Whiteville; her sister, Frankie Rabon and husband Brooks of Charleston; grandchildren Pamela Kennedy, Brandon Causey, Amy Causey, Dakota Suggs; step-grandchildren Ronda Gore, Melissa Gore, Dillon Gore, Hope Carroll, Ruddy Benton, and Candy Tyler; and many loving great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Gore was predeceased by her husband, Hubert Gore; her daughter, Dollie Stocks; three brothers, Wilbur, Ronnie, and Everette Housand; and grandchildren Casey McCormick and Patrick Causey.
Graveside services were planned for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, at Antioch Cemetery with Rev. Mack Hutson officiating.
