David Lambert Cox: Zephyrhills, Fla.

1957 – 2020

     David Lambert Cox unexpectedly passed away on Dec. 20, 2020, at his home in Zephyrhills, Florida from a heart attack. He was 63.

     Lambert lived most of his life in Tampa but had recently moved to Zephyrhills. He graduated from Myrtle Beach High School in 1975.

     Lambert, as he mostly was referred, was born Feb. 19, 1957 in Charleston, South Carolina to Boyd Cox of Loris and Belinda Harrelson Cox of Whiteville. He was a grandson of Draudy Lambert Harrelson and Jossie Pauline Fowler Harrelson, and Davis and Helen Skipper Cox, all of Loris.

     Lambert was a free spirit with a tender heart. He worked mostly in residential and commercial construction, in multiple trades.

     Lambert was preceded in death by both parents and his brother, Phillip Boyd Cox of Wesley Chapel, Florida.

     He is survived by his sister, Wendy Cox of Raleigh, a brother, Christopher Cox of Yorktown, Virginia: three nieces and a nephew.
