Emil Blake Josephs: Greenwood

1978 – 2021

     Emil Blake Josephs of Greenwood passed away on Tuesday Feb. 2. He was 42.

     Blake was born Aug. 17, 1978 in Myrtle Beach. He worked as a cook, was of the Christian faith, and was a loving son, brother, and uncle.

     Survivors include his father, William Vincent “Bill” Josephs, Jr. and wife, Dru of Loris; mother, Emilie Bozanek Josephs of Loris; two brothers, Trey Josephs and wife, Marie of Loris and Mark Josephs and wife, Shannon of Myrtle Beach; nieces and nephews Hannah, Vincent, Matthew, Brock and Blair Josephs; an aunt, Nancy Seal and husband Julian of Summerville; and many loving extended family members.

     Private memorial services were planned. Family requests that memorials be made to the Loris First Presbyterian Church, Upward Program, PO Box 425, Loris, SC 29569.
