Aubry “Buddy” Soles, Jr.: Tabor City

1967 – 2021

     Aubry “Buddy” Soles, Jr. of Tabor City died Saturday, Feb. 6, in New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington. He was 53.

     Born Dec. 15, 1967 in Horry County, he was the son of Aubry “Bill” Soles, Sr. and Brenda Phillips Soles of Tabor City.

     In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Sharon Rogers Soles of the home; a son, Aubry Lawrence Soles of Tabor City; a daughter, Meagan Danielle Soles of Tennessee; two step sons, Jonathan Sealey and Christopher Sealey, both of Whiteville; four grandchildren, Holli Elizabeth Soles, Bobby Jo Soles, Tyler James Soles and Jonathan Douglas Fipps; a brother, Samuel Soles of Tabor City; two sisters, Kay Causey and husband Johnny of Tabor City and Alice Alford of Whiteville; and several nieces and nephews.

     A graveside service was planned for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, in Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding the service at the cemetery.
