Margarita Osorio Vera: Loris

1957 – 2021

     Margarita Osorio Vera of Loris died Wednesday, Feb. 3, at McLeod Health Loris hospital. She was 63.

     Margarita was born Nov. 6, 1957 in Mexico. She was daughter of late Andres Osorio Velazquez and Cruz Vera Flores.

     She is survived by her nine daughters and two sons, Rosalinda Tinoco of Green Sea, Araceli Tinoco of Loris, Marisela Tinoco, Liliana Tinoco, Jessica Tinoco, and Amanda Osorio of Tabor City, Oscar Tinoco and Jorge Osorio of Myrtle Beach, Maria Osorio of Darlington, Cristina Palafox and Yaritza Tinoco of Little River; four siblings, Ignacia Osorio, Miguel Osorio, Rita Osorio of Acatlan, Mexico and Rosa Osorio of Yanga, Mexico; twentyfour grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Roman Osorio, Elias Osorio, and Jovita Osorio.

     Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at Our Lady Star of the Sea in North Myrtle Beach. Burial followed in Myrtle Green Cemetery.
