Marian Turner Huggins: Conway

1947 – 2021

     Marian Turner Huggins of Conway passed away Monday, Jan. 25. She was 73.

     Mrs. Huggins was born July 21, 1947 in Lumberton.

     She resided in Loris with her life partner W.D. McDowell for 27 years before he passed away in 2007.

     She was also preceded in death by her father and mother, Jesse and Mattie Turner; two brothers, Ronald Turner and Jimmy Turner.

     She is survived by her six children, Lynn Dew of Loris, Tonia Huggins, Teresa Martin, Marty Huggins and Cindy Leday of Conway, Susie and Paul Pitcher of Indiana, Donnie and Shellie Carroll of Summerville; sixteen grandchildren, Christie and Pito of Southport, Lara and Chris of Conway, Jeremy and Nicole of Loris, Williams Vereen of Conway, Emily and Jake of Indiana, Jeremiah Causey of Conway, Brook Huggins and Ashley Huggins of Loris, Joey and Jeannie of Indiana, Ray Ann Carroll, Adalee Carroll, Rachael Carroll, Dakota Carroll, Craig Carroll, Adam Shay, Niki Hildreth all of Summerville; 13 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters Tommy and Cindy Turner of Winnabow, Sherry and Steven Johnson of Kelly, Charlene and Jeff Peterson of Florida, and Freida Fipps of Wilmington; and several nieces and nephews.

     A memorial for Marian was planned at her residence in Conway at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20. For details contact Tonia Huggins.
