Richard Alan Hall: Clarendon

1949 – 2021

     Richard Alan Hall of Clarendon died Thursday, March 18, in McLeod Seacoast hospital, Little River. He was 72.

     Born Feb. 17, 1949 in Columbus County, he was the son of the late Cephas and Bernice McDowell Hall and the widower of Diane Grainger Hall.

     He is survived by a daughter, Gina Dawn Sanderford and her husband Scott of Summerville, North Carolina; a son, Geoffrey Hall of Elizabeth City; three brothers, Roger Dale Hall and his wife Judy of Clarendon, Ray B. Hall and his wife Sabra of New Port, Kevin Hall of Beaufort; and two grandchildren, Jonathan McDonald and Crystal Hall.

     Richard was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

     Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 22, in the Hall-Simmons Cemetery, Clarendon.
