Levy Gerald Caines: Loris

1950 – 2021

     Levy Gerald Caines of Loris went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, March 30. He was 70.

     Mr. Caines was born in Loris, son of the late Baynard C. Caines and Golie Gerald Caines.

     He attended Wampee Baptist Church, was an employee of Pruitt Health, and in his younger days he served his country in the Army National Guard.

     He is survived by his son, Tyler Caines of Loris; a stepson, Jason Stanley of Tabor City; two sisters, Nelda Lane of Candler and Velda Ledbetter of Myrtle Beach; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

     He was predeceased by three brothers, Talbert Caines, Henyard Caines, and Gene Austin Caines.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, April 3, at Wampee Baptist Church in Longs with Rev. Tyler Caines and Rev. Bryan Jordan officiating, burial following at Cane Branch Baptist Church Cemetery in Loris.

     Family planned to receive friends beginning at 12:30 p.m., prior to the service at Wampee Baptist Church.
