Verna Dean Allen Quest: Tabor City

1961 – 2021

     Verna Dean Allen Quest of Tabor City died Saturday, April 3, in her home. She was 59.

     Born Sept. 30, 1961 in Horry County, she was the daughter of Vernon Allen and Geraldine Boswell Allen of Tabor City.

     In addition to her parents, she is survived by one son, Quenton Stanley and fiancée Katie Payne of Leland; a daughter, Johanna Gore of Tabor City; a brother, Russell Allen and wife Melinda of Loris; a sister, Heather Allen Faulk and husband Travis of Nakina; three grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

     Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, in Inman Ward Funeral Home.

     A graveside service was to be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, in Spivey Cemetery.

     In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Columbus County Animal Shelter, A 288 Legion Drive, Whiteville, NC 28472.
