Karen Denise Causey: Loris

1973 – 2021

     Karen Denise Gander Causey of Loris passed away on Thursday, April 1, , at McLeod Loris hospital. She was 48.

     Born Feb. 23, 1973 in Jacksonville, she was the daughter of Mr. Mark Elmer Gander and the late Collene Phillips Gander. Karen worked for the Coca-Cola Company for 23 years and was a member of The Refuge Church in Conway.

     Survivors, including her father of Bonneau, are her husband, Chad Everette Causey of the home; three loving daughters, Brenna Hall, Olivia Causey, and Maggie Causey all of Loris; sisters Robin Gander of Rock Hill and Katherine Kraack and husband Evan of Goose Creek; and her husband’s parents, Randy Causey and wife Louise and Marie Cooper and husband Tom, all of Loris.

     Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jason Cook and Rev. Vernie Batten officiating. Committal services followed at Carter Cemetery.
