Faye Spivey Rozier: Tabor City

1936 – 2021

     Faye Spivey Rozier of Tabor City died on Saturday, June 26. She was 85.

     A native of Tabor City, she was the daughter of the late H. Cliff and Ruby H. Spivey. She was the widow of Carlton R. “Butch” Rozier.

     Mrs. Rozier was a mathematics teacher, with most of her 40-year career spent teaching in Easley, retiring in 1998.

     She is survived by her brothers, Tommy Spivey of Tabor City and Billy Spivey of Spartanburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

     She was predeceased by her two sisters, Barbara Spivey and Doris Gay; and two brothers, Donald Spivey and Jimmy Spivey.

     A graveside service was planned for 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Tabor City.

     Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
