Steve Russ: Loris

1951 – 2021

     Steve Russ of Loris passed away Sunday, Aug. 22. He was 70.

     Mr. Russ was born in Union, a son of the late Lewis Guide and Mary Ann Todd Russ. He was a member of Lawndale Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon.

     In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Del Doyle.

     Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Phyllis Russ of Loris; and two sons, Lewis Russ and Jackie Russ of Loris.

     A graveside service was planned for 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, at Carter Cemetery with Rev. Larry Johnson officiating.

     Family planned to receive friends during the hour preceding the service at the cemetery.
