Daris Vernice Hardee Piver: Tabor City

1932 – 2021

     Daris Vernice Hardee Piver of Tabor City died Sunday, Aug. 29, in Leland House Assisted Living, Leland. She was 88.

     Born Dec. 25, 1932 in Horry County, she was the daughter of the late Mayo Hardee and Addie Cox Hardee and the widow of Avery Piver.

     She is survived by a daughter, Belinda Piver Steelman; two sons, Brent Piver and wife Amy and Cephas Piver of Tabor City; five grandchildren, Alisha, Lindsey, Dakota, Hannah and Cara; and four great grandchildren, Jase, Annabelle, Maverick and Jake.

     A graveside service was planned for 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31, in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
