Leonard Bell: Loris

1953 – 2021

     Leonard Bell of Loris passed away Wednesday, Sept. 1. He was 68.

     Mr. Bell was born in Loris, a son of the late L.D. Bell and the late Annie Mae Ray Bell. He was a farmer.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Kathleen Hipskind.

     Survivors include his two sons, Jamie Bell and Chris Bell of Loris; his former wife, Delores Bell of Loris; step-daughter Kim Chandley of Conway; a brother, Eugene Bell of Loris; two sisters, Doris Butler of Clinton and Linda Martin; of Loris; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

     A graveside service was planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, at Zoan United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Marty Cox officiating.

Family planned to receive friends at the cemetery following the service.

     Due to COVID-19 and CDC regulations, masks and social distancing are requested for those in attendance.
