Edward Lamar Merritt: Nichols

Edward Lamar Merritt of Nichols died Saturday Sept. 11, in his home. He was 72.
Born in Jacksonville, Florida., he was the son of the late Edward Merritt and Alice Beverly Merritt.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by one daughter, Michelle Green of Springfield, Missouri; a sister, Ruby Human of Titusville, Florida; and one grandson.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Diane Susan Longwood Merritt; and sisters Rose Roberts, Lettie Mae, Mary Louise Lovett.
