Ernest George Hardwick of Loris took his heavenly flight on Saturday, Sept. 18, in Conway Medical Center, Conway. He was 55.
He served his country in the United States Army from 1984 to 1990. He was employed with Ebtron of Loris and a member of Poley Bridge Baptist Church, Nakina.
Ernest was born Oct. 9, 1965 in La Mirada, California to the late Nellie Lorene Points Hardwick and George Orbie Hardwick.
He is survived by his wife, Katrina Lane Hardwick of the home; his daughter, Christine Hardwick of Irvine, California; his son, Jeremiah Hardwick of the home; step son Christopher Williams; two sisters, Janice Millsap and Nora Lund of Nakina; a brother, Ervine Hardwick of Nakina; half-brother Charles Hardwick of Bladenboro; half-sister Peggy Davis of Hallsboro; and a grandson.
A graveside service was held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, in the Bayboro Baptist Church Cemetery, Aynor.
