Erica Miles Hardwick: Loris

1986 – 2021

     Erica Miles Hardwick of Loris, wife of Derick Chad Hardwick, passed away, on Friday, Oct. 1, from injuries sustained in an accident. She was 35.

     She was born Feb. 16, 1986 in Florence County, a daughter of Eric Jason Miles and Sherry Floyd Miles.

     In addition to her husband and parents she is survived by her children, Bryce Weaver, Peyton Weaver, Banks Hardwick, and Austin Hardwick of Loris and Alexis Hardwick of Florence; a sister, Megan McDaniel of Scranton; and numerous extended family members.

     Erica was preceded in death by her brother, paternal and maternal grandparents.

     Funeral services were planned for 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton.

     Family planned to receive friends beginning at 2 p.m., prior to the services, at the funeral home.

     Graveside services were planned for 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, at Pleasant Meadow Baptist Church Cemetery, Loris.
