Alesa Buffkin Faircloth of Tabor City after an illness. She was 60.
Born Sept. 17, 1961 in Columbus County she was the daughter of the late Gummery and Virginia (Watts) Buffkin.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Roger Dale Faircloth; a son, Cory Faircloth; daughters Ashley Faircloth and Kayla Cruz; brothers Leon Buffkin, Michael W. Buffkin, and Bocephus Buffkin; a sister, Brenda Lee; twelve grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by the father who adopted and reared her, Beamon; brothers Jerry Buffkin and Michael “Mike” D. Buffkin; and a sister, Ila V. Buffkin.
Visitation was planned from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10, at Inman Ward Funeral Home and Crematory.
A graveside funeral service was planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
