Norman Monroe Spivey: Whiteville

1954 – 2022

     Norman Monroe Spivey of Whiteville died Tuesday, Jan. 18, in Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCareCenter, Whiteville. He was 67.

     Born in Horry County, he was the son the late Archie and Norma Lee Spivey.

     He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Chavis Spivey of the home; two sons, Phillip Spivey of Clarendon and Anthony Spivey of Aynor; a brother, Paul Ray Spivey of Whiteville; two sisters, Joyce Ward of Whiteville and Phyllis Prince of Loris; and four grandchildren.

     Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Wright Cemetery on the Minos Meares Road, Tabor City.
