Roger Dale Hall Sr.: Clarendon

1950 – 2022

     Roger Dale Hall Sr. of Clarendon died Tuesday, Jan. 25, in McLeod Loris hospital. He was 71.

     Born in Columbus County, he was the son of the late Cephas Hall and Bernice McDowell Hall.

     He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served his country proudly.

     He is survived by his wife, Judy L. Hall of the home; five sons, Kevin Hall of Beaufort, Roger D. Hall Jr. of Peletier, Roy M. Bell of Conway, Benjamin Saint Clar of LaGrange, Tony Lewis of Whiteville; a daughter, Jennifer Lewis of Newport, a brother, Ray Hall of Newport; eleven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

     In addition to his parents Roger was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Hall.

     Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31, in the Hall-Simmons Cemetery, Clarendon.

     In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given in honor of Roger to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital PO Box 1000 Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
