Ben Leigh Hickman: Myrtle Beach

1938 – 2022

     Ben Leigh Hickman of Myrtle Beach passed away on Monday, Jan. 31. He was 83.

     He was born in Tabor City to Ernest Herbert Hickman and Zulu (Floyd) Hickman.

     Ben and his partner owned and operated Hickman’s Florist for many years before relocating to Daytona Beach, Florida where they opened Daytona Beach Florist and resided for 25 years. After retiring they returned to North Myrtle Beach to be close to friends and family.

     Ben is survived by his spouse, Bill G. Hollingsworth of Myrtle Beach; his cherished fur babies; and many dear friends and family members.

     A private service will be held at a later date.
