Mary Sue Nealey: Tabor City

1964 – 2022

     Mary Sue Nealey of Tabor City died Tuesday, Feb. 15, in Whiteville. She was 57.

     Born April 22, 1964 in Horry County, she was the daughter of Rose Gertrude Williamson of Clarendon and the late James Floyd Nealey.

     In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Glinston Soles of Whiteville; two sons, Kevin Shane Nealey of Tabor City and Vincent Soles, Jr. of Whiteville: two daughters, Gidget Thompson and Melissa Mendoza, both of Whiteville; eight grandchildren, Savannah Nealey, Hunter Nealey, Katherine Nealey, Zoe Nealey, Brandon Ward, Hayden Ward, Ashton Price and Logan Tyree; one great grandson, Kylan Drake Price; a sister, Rosa Lee Norris of Whiteville; and an uncle, Sammy Powell of Whiteville.

     In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Floyd Nealey.

     A graveside service was planned for 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, in Whiteville Memorial Cemetery.
