Linda Pearce Ward: Nakina

1938 – 2022

     Linda Pearce Ward of Nakina died Saturday, March 5, in Lower Cape Fear LifeCare, Whiteville. She was 83.

     Born Sept. 30, 1938 in Robeson County, she was the daughter of the late John Franklin Pearce and Frances Musselwhite Pearce.

     She is survived by her husband, John Colon Ward of the home; a daughter, Karen Williams of Fayetteville; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

     Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, in Inman Ward Funeral Home.

     Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Thursday, March 10, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in Ward Cemetery, Mooney Ford Road, Nakina.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 206 Warrior Trail, Whiteville, NC 28472.
