Michael Scott McKeithan: Nakina

1976 – 2022

     Michael Scott McKeithan of Nakina died Friday, May 20, 2022 in Duke Medical Center, Durham. He was 46.

     He was the son of Rev. Henry Vernon McKeithan and Cathy Diane Holbrooks McKeithan.

     In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Ashley Nicole McKeithan of Nakina; two sisters, JoAnn McKeithan Reaves of Nakina and Martha Gale Strickland of Whiteville; two brothers, Vernon James McKeithan and Robert Wayne McKeithan of Nakina; and one grandson.

     Graveside services were planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, in Watts Cemetery, Nakina.

     Visitation was planned from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., preceding the service, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.
