Kenneth Wayne Soles: Aberdeen

1958 – 2022

     Kenneth Wayne “Catfish” Soles of Aberdeen died Sunday, June 26, in First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. He was 64.

     Born June 16, 1958 in Columbus County, he was the son of the late Wilmer Soles and Hazel Irene Hardie Soles.

     He is survived by one daughter, Candy Hernandez of Loris; a brother, Raeford Soles of Aberdeen; one sister, Reba Cartrette of Whiteville; ten grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Dewayne Soles; and three brothers, Lewis Soles, Wilbur Jacob Soles and Thomas Soles.

Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, in Inman Ward Funeral Home.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Thursday, June 30, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in Myrtle Green Cemetery.
