Jeannie Dare Fowler: Green Sea

1940 – 2022

     Jeannie Dare Fowler of Green Sea died Wednesday, July 20, in Compass Post Acute Rehabilitation in Conway, surrounded by her family. She was 82.

     Born July 2, 1940 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Mary Lucille Jordan Fowler and the widow of David Cole Fowler.

     She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Fowler Squires (Charles, Blake, Bethany) of Aynor; a son, Benjamin Michael Fowler (Dawn Nelson) of Green Sea; one brother, Ricky Fowler (Katie) of Loris; three sisters, Lynn Foster (Steve) of Matthews, Jeanette Williamson (Jimmy) of Evergreen, and Judy Fowler Nance (Curtis) of Clarendon; nine grandchildren; and her extended family and many friends.

     Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, July 23, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, entombment following in the Twin City Mausoleum.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding the service in the chapel.
