Polly Ann Rockwell Gaskin: Tabor City

1937 – 2022

     Polly Ann Rockwell Gaskin of Tabor City entered her Heavenly home on Aug. 4, 2022, in Lexington County. She was 84.

     She was born Oct. 12, 1937 in Columbus County, a daughter of the late Frank and Beulah Radford Rockwell.

     She is survived by her daughter, Robin Gaskin Inman of Leesville; her son, Douglas Gaskin, Jr. of Clarendon; sisters Margie Wallace, Martha Spivey, Lois Mincey and Bonita Dalton; brothers Thelton Rockwell and Thomas Rockwell; four grandsons: four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

     In additions to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Douglas Gaskin Sr.; a brother, Franklin Rockwell; and a sister, Magalene Dalton.

     Family thanks the staff and care givers at Lakeside Place Senior Living and Lighthouse Hospice Group for all the love, care, and concern you gave to her and also, to us.

     In lieu of flowers, family request memorials be given in her name to the Williams Township Volunteer Fire Department, 1655 F. M. Cartret Road, Whiteville, NC 28472.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, with a private burial to follow.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding the service in the chapel.
