Phyllis Cox Todd: Loris

1940 – 2023

     Phyllis Cox Todd of Loris, formerly of North Charleston, passed away on March 28 surrounded by her family. She was 83.

     She was born January 5, 1940, in Loris to the late H. Brooks Cox and Velma Gause Cox.

     In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, LaRue Ray in 1980, her second husband, N. Wayne Todd in 2014, and a brother, Randy Brooks Cox of Petersburg, Virginia.

     She is survived by her sisters, Linda Cox Bell of Bayboro and Dale Cox Carter of Loris; stepchildren Andy Todd, Kathy Todd, Vicky Altman, and Kevin Todd; eight step grandchildren; and one step great grandson; and many loving nieces and nephews.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, April 1, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel with Rev. Andy Bell officiating, burial following at Grainger Cemetery at Red Bluff Crossroads.

     Family planned to receive friends during the hour preceding services at the funeral home.
