Billy E. Jordan: Loris
1948 – 2023
Billy E. Jordan of Loris passed away Tuesday, April 25. He was 75.
Mr. Jordan was born in Conway, a son of the late H.B. and Roeshell Burnette Jordan. He was a member of Cane Branch Baptist Church and was a US Army veteran serving in the 82nd Airborne during Vietnam.
Surviving are: his wife of almost 53 years, Wanda Gerald Jordan of Loris; a son, Kip Jordan of Loris; one daughter, Desiree Day of Loris; a brother, Jerry Jordan of Loris; three sisters, Hilda Edge and Maxine Tyler of Conway and his twin, Betty Edge of Loris; five grandchildren; and two sister in laws.
Family planned to receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 28, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel.
Funeral services were planned for 4 p.m. Saturday, April 29, from Cane Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Jon Johnson, Rev. Donald Tillman and Rev. Dr. Jerry Robertson officiating, burial following in the church cemetery.
