Judy Coleman Caines: Tabor City

1946 – 2023

     Judy Coleman Caines of Tabor City passed away peacefully at her home on July 8. She was 76.

     Judy is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 22 years, James C. Caines (Buddy); a son, CW5 Rev. David L. Ward and wife Jennifer of Culleoka, Tennessee; and nephew Jonathan Coleman and wife Jane of Tabor City.

     Judy was preceded in death by her father, R.C. Coleman, Jr.; mother, Kathryn Coleman; a son, Matt Ward; and a brother, David Coleman and his wife Christine.

     Judy was born on August 13, 1946. She graduated from Tabor City High School and went on to receive her cosmetology license. Judy was the love of her husband’s life and loving mother who enjoyed cooking and decorating. One of her God-given talents was being a faithful and compassionate caregiver.

     A graveside service was planned for 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, in Coleman Cemetery.

     Family planned to receive friends following the service in the cemetery.
