After school activities cancelled for Columbus County system

     With a low pressure system off of the Carolina’s coast threatening “some impacts across portions of southeast North Carolina” today and tonight, according to the National Weather Service, “All after-school activities for Friday, Sept. 22, have been cancelled,” Columbus County Schools’ spokesman Kelly Jones said in an e-mail after noon.
