Patrick Ray Hegwood: Chadbourn

1937 – 2023

     Patrick Ray Hegwood of Chadbourn died Saturday, Sept. 30, in his home. He was 65.

     Born May 8, 1958 in Texas City, Texas, he was the son of the late Pleasant Ray Hegwood and Clara Ann Murphy Hegwood.

     He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

     He is survived by his wife, Mary Pat Garrell Hoggard Hegwood of the home; two sons, Peter Ray Hegwood of Sumter and Phillip Andrew Hegwood of Union; two daughters, Alisabeth Irizarry of Detroit, Michigan and Patricia Ranee Hegwood of Orrum; and a sister, Donia Price of West Columbia.

     A memorial service will be held at a later date.
