Allie Orilla Leigh: North Myrtle Beach

1927 – 2024

     Allie Orilla (Rogers Swarts) Leigh of North Myrtle Beach passed away on Friday, Jan. 5, after a long bout with dementia. She was 96.

     Allie was born on Oct. 12, 1927 to Charles and Lee Orilla Rogers in Tabor City. She was married twice and survived both previous husbands.

     She is survived by children Shirley Coleman of Whiteville, Helen Sommers of North Myrtle Beach, and Greg Swarts of Lake Waccamaw; five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

     Services were planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding services in the chapel.
