Toys for Tots sign ups Nov. 2 and Dec. 7

     Sign up dates for the Toys for Tots program in Columbus County are set for two Saturdays, Nov. 2 and Dec. 7, organizers say.

     Applications will be accepted at Believers Home Fellowship in Tabor City and Abundant Life Assembly of God in Whiteville from 10 a.m. to noon both days.

     Residents of Tabor City, Fair Bluff, Cerro Gordo and Chadbourn should sign up in Tabor City. Those who live elsewhere in the county should sign up in Whiteville.

     Believers Home Fellowship is located at 13590 James B. White Hwy South, Tabor City. Abundant Life Assembly of God is located at 5384 James B. White Hwy South, Whiteville.

     ID will be required for those applying for toys for their children, and for the child. Acceptable identification for children include a photo ID, birth certificate, school ID, Medicaid/Medicare card, or court approved adoption papers.

     Identification is required for each child, and each child must be pre-registered before the give-away date. Registration on the day of the give-away will not be accepted.
