Crystal Gail Chestnut Ward: Loris

1977 – 2025

     Crystal Gail Chestnut Ward of Loris passed away on Monday, Feb. 10, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was 47.

     Born Feb. 18, 1977, in Loris, she was the daughter of the late Homer Tyson Chestnut and the late Betty Ann Stevens Chestnut.

     Survivors include her loving children, Haley Renee Ward and Zackery Ward; brothers Homer Tyson Chestnut, Jr. and Johnny Chestnut; and sisters Tammy Todd and Betty Jean Chestnut.

     In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ward was predeceased by her boyfriend, Larry Dean Capps; and sisters Joann Williams and Teresa Kay Chestnut.

     Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Rev. David Watts officiating.
