Josephine Cartrette: Chadbourn

1943 – 2025

     Josephine Cartrette of Chadbourn passed away Tuesday, Oct. 28, in the Columbus Regional Healthcare, Whiteville. She was 81.

     Born Nov. 11, 1943 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late William Albert Cartrette and Agnes Mae Hardie Cartrette.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Earl Cartrette and John Wesley Cartrette; and several other step-sisters and step-brothers.

     She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

     A graveside service was planned for 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, in McPherson Cemetery.

     Family planned to receive friends following the service in the cemetery.
