Karen Lynn Springs McDaniels: Myrtle Beach

1964 – 2026

     Karen Lynn Springs McDaniels of Myrtle Beach, lovingly known as “KK”, passed away on April 30 following a traumatic heart and brain complication. She was 61.

     Born June 16, 1964, in Trenton, New Jersey, to the late Brenda Kay McNeil Springs and Billy Ray Springs, Sr., KK grew up in Green Sea, before making her home in Myrtle Beach.

     She is survived by her father, Billy Ray Springs, Sr.; her devoted husband, Johnny McDaniels; daughters Paige McDaniels and Tiffany McDaniels; a brother, Keith Springs; and other extended family.

     She was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Springs; and her brother, Billy Ray Springs, Jr.

     Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Sunday, May 3, at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Marcus Fowler and Rev. Scott Enzor officiating, committal services following at Riverside Cemetery in Nichols.

     Family planned to receive friends during the two hours preceding services at the church.
