Donnie Mincey: Loris

1937 – 2026

     Donnie Mincey of Loris passed away on Saturday, Oct. 31, at his home. He was 89.

     Born Oct. 31, 1937, in Loris he was the son of the late Fletcher Marion Mincey and the late Mary Frances Norris Mincey.

     Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Patsy C. Mincey; a sister, Eula Mae Livingston; and other extended family.

     In addition to his parents, Mr. Mincey was predeceased by his siblings, Edeson Mincey, Mary Gladys Hewitt, Maybell Mincey, Fletcher Clifton Mincey, Sr., Carleen Sarvis, Calvin Donnie “C.D.” Mincey, Myrtle Blanton, Bill Mincey, Homer Lee Mincey, F.M. Mincey, and Rosie Hardee Barnhill.

     Family planned to receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at Hardwick Funeral Home.

     Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7, at Live Oak Baptist Church with Pastor Darren Hardwick and Rev. Mark Hughes officiating, committal services following at Live Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.

     Family requests that memorials be made to Live Oak Baptist Church, 1080 Live Oak Church Road, Loris, SC 29569.
