Sherry Angela Small: Tabor City

1961 – 2026

     Sherry Angela “Angie” Small of Tabor City passed away on Thursday, April 30, in Duke University Hospital, Durham. She was 64.

     Born Oct. 24, 1961 in Norfolk, Virginia, she is the daughter of Thomas Lee “Tommy” Small and Edna Jewel Gore Small of Tabor City.

     In addition to her parents, she is survived by one son, Gary Harris of Whiteville; two brothers, Terry Lee Small and Tommy Small of Tabor City; two sisters, Lanita West of Tabor City and Deanna Gwen Small of Florida; and one grandson, Jacob Harris.

     A graveside service was planned for 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, in Duncan Cemetery.

     Family planned to receive friends following the service in the cemetery.
