Leroy Boyd: Loris

1949 – 2026

     Leroy Boyd of Loris transitioned from his Earthly home to his Heavenly home on Tuesday, May 12, at his residence. He was 76.

     Surviving to cherish his memories are his daughter, Tiffany Boyd; sons Eddie Johnson, Leroy Owens, and Clevon Boyd; a sister, Lillie Boyd Jarrott; and brothers Dennis Boyd, Henry Boyd, and Robert Boyd.

     He was predeceased by his wife, Paula Boyd.

     He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

     Family planned to receive guests at 3020 Hwy 9 Bus West, Loris.

     A viewing was planned from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 16, in the Westside Funeral Home Chapel, 106 Lewis Street in Tabor City.

     A funeral service was planned for 3 p.m. Sunday, May 17, at Mitchell Sea Missionary Baptist Church, 3990 Mitchell Sea Road, Green Sea. Burial was planned in Florence National Cemetery at a later time.
