Ira Lee White, Jr.: Conway

1939 – 2026

     Ira Lee White, Jr. of Conway passed away on Wednesday, May 13, at Grand Strand Medical Center. He was 87.

     Born March 14, 1939, in Charleston, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Ira Lee White, Sr. and the late Thelma Slack White.

     Mr. White served his country with courage, honor, and dignity in the United States Army.

     Survivors include his loving wife, Vickie White; children Debbie Whitt, Tina Day, and Matthew White; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

     Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Mack Hutson officiating. Committal services followed at Hardee Cemetery.
