Margie Ann Brown Kearse: Loris

1935 – 2026

     Margie Ann Brown Kearse of Loris passed away on Wednesday, May 13, at Loris Rehab and Nursing Center. She was 91.

     Born May 11, 1935, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Oscar M Brown and the late Lucy Boxley Brown.

     Survivors include her loving children, Michael Anthony Kearse, Sr., Yvette Kearse-Meachum, Gail Kearse Burton, and Bernadette Kearse; a brother, Charles Brown (Jeannie); one sister, Signora Walker; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

     In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kearse was predeceased by her husband, Bennie Lee Kearse; a brother, Oscar Brown; and sisters Mary Maddox, Jerry Boxley, Ellen Watson, and Ernestine McCullough.

     Memorial services will be held at a later date in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
