Molly Faye Skipper Long: Loris

1953 – 2026

     Molly Faye Skipper Long of Loris passed away on Wednesday, June 17, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 73.

     Born June 3, 1953, in Mullins, she was the daughter of the late Isaac Thomas Skipper and the late Hannah Floyd Skipper.

     Survivors include her loving children, Kevin Long and Wendy Long Cox; sisters Ann Phillips and Jenise Kepley; a brother, Michael “Buddy” Skipper; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and other extended family.

     In addition to her parents, Mrs. Long was predeceased by her husband, Wendell Earl Long; brothers Carlyle Skipper and Billy Skipper; and a sister, Sherrie Norris.

     Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 20, at Cherry Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Joey Price officiating. Committal services were private.
