Wilbur James Causey: Loris

1959 – 2026

     Wilbur “Killer” James Causey of Loris passed away on Tuesday, June 30, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 66.

     Born Aug. 6, 1959, in Loris, he was the son of the late Olen Junior “OJ” Causey and the late Flossie Lillian Carter Causey.

     Survivors include his stepdaughter, Valerie McDonnell; brothers Paul Causey and Randy Causey; a sister, Carolyn Page; and other extended family and friends.

     In addition to his parents, Mr. Causey was predeceased by his wife, Phyllis Ann Todd Causey; a sister, Mary Porter; and a brother, Dale Causey.

     Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 3, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Rev. Thomas Gordon officiating. Committal services were private.
