Roger Dale Fowler: Loris

1951 – 2026

     Roger Dale Fowler of Loris passed away on Friday, July 10. He was 74.

     Born Nov. 5, 1951, in Loris, he was the son of the late Kinoth Fowler and the late Jennette Graham Fowler.

     Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Jean Fowler; a son, Kinoth Joshua Fowler; a sister, Wilma Gail Fowler Nealey; and other extended family.

     In addition to his parents, Mr. Fowler was predeceased by his siblings, Charles Fowler, Melvin Eston Fowler, Aaron Wayne Fowler, Minnie Pearl Fowler Joye, Frances Eulene Fowler Avant, and Sarah Ruthene Fowler; niece, Amanda Tyler; and a nephew.

     Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 17, at Pleasant Meadow Baptist Church with Rev. Jeremy Todd officiating. Committal services followed at Pleasant Meadow Cemetery.
