Isabelle Stanley Springs: Loris

1927 – 2026

     Isabelle Stanley Springs of Loris passed away on Sunday, Aug. 23, at her daughter’s home in Loris. She was 99.

     Mrs. Springs was on July 5, 1927, in Loris, a daughter of the late Samuel Joseph Stanley and the late Rena Bullard Stanley.

     Survivors include her loving sons, George Ashley Springs, Sammy Dale Springs, and Dennis Haynes Springs; a daughter, Gloria Springs Jackson; ten grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren, and other extended family.

     In addition to her parents Isabelle was pre-deceased by her husband, George Morgan Springs; her son, Lloyd “Snook” David Springs; a brother, Donald Stanley; two grandchildren; and other extended family.

     Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, at Loris First Baptist Church with Pastor Shane Phillips officiating, committal services following at Harrelson Cemetery in Loris.

     Family planned to receive friends from 1 to 2:45 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, prior to services at Loris First Baptist Church.
